Nocturne, Op. 130

by David Lee Grossman

/

about

A solo piano work heavily inspired by Chopin's nocturnes. When I was younger, I always told my parents that I wanted to play some of his nocturnes when I had the technical ability to play them. When I decided to write a nocturne, I knew my first one had to be inspired by one of my favorite piano composers.

Finished 1/31/2015. Audio created with Finale 2012 and Garritan instruments (GPO 4).
