lyrics

Christ was born on Christmas day;
Wreathe the holly, twine the bay!
Christus Natus, Hodie,
The virgin's Son, the Holy One,
The Holy One of God!

Let the bright red berries glow,
Ev'rywhere in goodly show,
As to worship Him we go,
The virgin's Son, the Holy One,
The Holy One of God!

He is born to set us free,
He is born our Lord to be;
Ex Maria virgine,
The God, the Lord, by us adored,
By us adored evermore!

Now, believers, come and sing;
'Tis the birthday of the King!
We our lives to him now bring,
The virgin's Son, the Holy One,
The Holy One of God!

The Holy One of God!
