Opening with a darker mood, this movement was inspired by the Kyrie from Mozart's Requiem (K. 626) in structure and sound. The first theme from this movement is repeated at the end of the Agnus Dei.

Finished 12/13/2013. Recorded using Finale 2012 and Garritan sound libraries (Choir - Garritan Instruments for Finale; Organ - Garritan Classic Pipe Organs [Modern Baroque Plenum w/pedal]). Mixed with Audacity.
