A fanfare for brass band, more modern than the rest of the suite. The fanfare starts out with a dissonant motif focused on the tritone, or augmented fourth, which slowly becomes more tonal and unison as it approaches the first theme. This represents the many different countries that participate in the Olympic Games, some of which are not exactly on friendly terms with each other, and how they come together in peace for the Olympics.
